Project Coordinator (Marketing and Events)

The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator role is to support the clean execution of trade show project plans and a variety of marketing operations, including catalog mailing list management, marketing material proofing, and promotional item and apparel coordination.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Problem solver with strong critical thinking skills and a resourceful approach to challenges.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including experience with data entry, sorting, presentation formatting, editing and basic formulas.
· Quick learner who adapts easily to new tools, processes, and priorities.
· Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Assist with marketing material proofing (catalogs, digital assets, point of purchase materials, etc.)
· Coordinate promotional item and apparel management, including ordering, inventory, and distribution.
· Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and an eye for compelling visuals and messaging.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills. Clearly and concisely articulate needs and accomplishments across multiple levels in the organization and to external partners
· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Event experience is a plus (supporting trade shows, open houses, or internal company events).
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is not required, but an interest in creative projects is encouraged
· Experience with content creation on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebooks, LinkedIn, etc.) and an understanding of digital marketing basics
· Interest in the horticulture industry
