Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator role is an integral part of the Americas shared services and is responsible for orchestrating products through the supply chain and communicating timely information to all internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Day-to-day responsibility for scheduling, tracking, tracing, routing, and problem-solving shipments |
Provide shipment information and support for production in form of labels, truck manifests, load and dock sequences, etc. |
Execute administrative tasks such to include the creation of Airbill, packing lists, pre-alerts, FedEx weekly uploads and booking cargo space |
Supports the trials process with coordination of freight service and tracking of trial product to and from Dümmen Orange location(s) |
Approves box changes and sets DIM and weigh- in system for calculation of freight rates and charges |
Holds vendors accountable for adhering to service agreements |
Review and update existing transportation and supply chain solutions as client business activities change |
It is important for candidates to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College level work in Supply Chain, Operations Management or similar is preferred. |
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field with emphasis on shipping, tracking and tracing. Minimum of 2 years of experience in (external) customer-facing roles |
Working proficiency in Spanish highly desired High proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel Working knowledge of freight management systems |
