As a HR Coordinator you will aid and facilitate the human resource processes for all NA business unit locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, onboarding, benefit administration and HRIS entry.

As a HR Coordinator you will aid and facilitate the human resource processes for all NA business unit locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, onboarding, benefit administration and HRIS entry.

 Your tasks and responsibilities

·         Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.

·         Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

·         Completes all new hire paperwork including Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.

·         Cooridnation of onboarding for new hires.

·         Reconciles benefits statements.

·         Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.

·         Assists with processing of terminations.

·         Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.

·         Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates and send notifications.

·         Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.

·         Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.

·         Coordinate collection of performance reviews.

·         Files documents into appropriate employee files.

·         Assists with the terminiation process including paperwork, notifications to relevant departments and exit interviews..

·         Prepares new-employee files.

·         Assists with planning and execution of speciali events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations

Your Profile

  •          Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.

  •       Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
  •       Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take              initiative on variety of tasks and projects
  •       Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
  •          Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  •                   Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  •                   At least two years related experience required.
  •       Reliable transportation required
  •         Experience with ADP HRIS Systems is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·     While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and computer printer. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and make adjustments as necessary.

       WORK ENVIRONMENT:

·       While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The individual frequently works in a controlled climate.
