Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representatives must have excellent communication and phone skills, pays great attention to detail and must be able to function while under pressure. The job requires the ability to multi-task while meeting daily deadlines to insure that customer quotes, orders and shipments are received by the set customer standards for our company. They are responsible for order integrity/management, pricing, vendor communication, clearing of shipments (freight questions), assist in claim initiation and resolution.

This position falls under McHutchison & Vaughan's BU, and is located in Naperville, IL.

Your essential functions include:

  • The CSR’s duties and responsibilities encompass but are not limited to the following key objectives:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Coordinates work across multiple international and domestic time zones effectively
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives
  • Timely and effective communication of issues or changes in order status when necessary
  • Effective use of ERP programs and other business systems
  • Brand knowledge
  • Troubleshooting and resolution capabilities
  • Communicating and tracking any IT issues that arise in the process of order entry through the appropriate channels
